Rooibos, Red Bush Tea (Teabags)

$ 9.00

Also referred to as Red Tea or Red Bush Tea, Rooibos is a shrub-like plant indigenous to the Cape region of South Africa. Caffeine-free and naturally high in antioxidants, Rooibos has a smooth, deep, earthy flavor with a distinctive sweet aroma. It makes a delightful cup of tea, hot or cold.

Each box is adorned with a unique piece of art handmade by women in western Kenya. Every label is made using dried bark from banana trees and handmade paper. Inside the box, a small twine or bracelet, is made using recycled magazines and dried bark from banana trees.

100% of the profits are donated to the Ajiri Foundation, which provides school fees and programming for orphans in western Kenya.

Afternoon Relax Tea

Rooibos is my afternoon go to tea for relaxing into the late afternoon and early evening. I love the full flavor without any after taste. It is just a wonderful tea! When I drink this tea I feel a connection to the people who made it, packaged it, and distributed it. It is wonderful to feel part of something larger then yourself.
