Rooibos, Red Bush Tea (Teabags)

$ 9.00

Also referred to as Red Tea or Red Bush Tea, Rooibos is a shrub-like plant indigenous to the Cape region of South Africa. Caffeine-free and naturally high in antioxidants, Rooibos has a smooth, deep, earthy flavor with a distinctive sweet aroma. It makes a delightful cup of tea, hot or cold.

Each box is adorned with a unique piece of art handmade by women in western Kenya. Every label is made using dried bark from banana trees and handmade paper. Inside the box, a small twine or bracelet, is made using recycled magazines and dried bark from banana trees.

100% of the profits are donated to the Ajiri Foundation, which provides school fees and programming for orphans in western Kenya.

Great taste, health benefits.

I recently gave up caffeine and this tea has been a nice replacement for my afternoon beverage. I also love that it helps kids in Kenya.

What a Find!

I am a tea drinker plain and simple. Have never drunk coffee or any of the "poofy" drinks.
My wife and I are in a gourmet club and at our last get-together the hostess served your tea to me. What a wonderful surprise it was! I enjoyed it so much that she gave me a few bags to take home. We subsequently placed an order which we have received and now I can enjoy your tea regularly without having to wait for a future gourmet club get-together.
Keep up the good work.
