Inside every box: a handmade bracelet or twine, crafted from banana bark and recycled paper by women in Kenya.

Enjoy our signature strong Kenyan Black Tea blended with just a hint of natural mango. This makes a refreshing iced tea! The tea is all handpicked in the fertile hills of western Kenya--bringing you a smooth and full-bodied cup. 

Each box is adorned with a unique piece of art handmade by women in western Kenya. Every label is made using dried bark from banana trees and handmade paper. Inside the box is a small twine or bracelet, made from recycled magazines and dried bark from banana trees. 

100% of the profits are donated to the Ajiri Foundation, which provides school fees and programming for orphans in western Kenya.

just excellent tea

I have tried five of Ajiri's offerings, and they are all splendid. The Nairobi Chai might be my favorite, but at this point, I cannot do without the Mango and the Ginger varieties. I love the little gifts in each box, too, but it's the quality of the product (and the good cause, of course) that keeps me coming back.
