Ajiri Kenyan Black Tea is exceptionally full-bodied and smooth. Winner of the "Best Black Tea" at the World Expo, this Kenyan Black Tea is grown in the Kisii Hills of western Kenya, an area known for its abundant rainfall and fertile soil.

Each box is adorned with a unique piece of art handmade by women in western Kenya. Every label is made using dried bark from banana trees and handmade paper. Inside the box, a small twine or bracelet, is made using recycled magazines and dried bark from banana trees. 

100% of the profits are donated to the Ajiri Foundation, which provides school fees and programming for orphans in western Kenya.

Brewing Instructions
Bring fresh water to a boil; steep for 3-5 minutes or until desired strength. One teaspoon brews one cup of strong tea.

Very Nice Rich Flavor

I gave this tea a try after finding it in a local shop in Frenchtown, NJ. I was very impressed with the the loose version. Nice robust, warm flavor with hints of baked goods, chocolate and a pleasant maltiness.

An absolute delight

High-quality teas for any time of day – I have a pot of loose leaf black tea in the morning, rooibos in the afternoon, and rooibos chai in the evening, but you do you. So much care and thought has gone into the design and packaging too, making Ajiri Tea a must-have for any tea lover. An absolute delight to drink and enjoy, as well as supporting a wonderful cause.
